I created 5 questions and asked 5 of my peers. The questions and answers were as follows:

1.What background colour do you find the most appealing? And why?

• Red, Multicoloured so it stands out
• Dark blue, calming and natural
• Black because then everything stands out on it
• Black because its a rock magazine so it goes better with the genre
• White and black so its contrasting colours

2. Which title do you prefer? What would you improve?

• Pic 4 & put it in colour
• Pic 1 if it was faded more
• Pic 1 and wouldn't changed nothing
• Pic 4 because its different and attracts the eye
• Pic 3 because its simple and eroded

3. What do you prefer on a contents? (Think of pictures, colours, fonts and info etc)

• Bright and colourful pictures to attract my attention
• Pictures and info with good font and similar colours
• Pictures, Logos and stuff
• Pictures
• The way its set out and pictures used

4. What do you look at on a contents page? (Like what attracts you to it)

• The pictures mainly
• Fonts and layout
• Pictures - I don't take notice in the writing
• Whats in the magazine and pictures
• Just the fonts

5. How would you like the layout to be?

• Easy and not to messy so its easy to understand
• Simple and modern
• Doesn't bother me, aslong as it explains whats in it and some pictures I don't mind
• Random
• In order
